The experience
This compact south-of-the-Atlas itinerary is built around architecture and landscape. The road crosses the mountains toward the Ounila Valley, linking Telouet’s historic kasbah country with Aït Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate. An overnight stay makes the journey more comfortable and leaves time to see the earthen architecture in softer morning or late-afternoon light.
